Green Parrot Expands into Europe with Support from the State of North Rhine-Westphalia

Green Parrot Collective is proud to announce the next step in our global growth journey.

Green Parrot Collective is proud to announce the next step in our global growth journey with the establishment of our European sales office in Düsseldorf, Germany. This milestone marks a major step forward as we expand into one of the world’s most advanced sustainability and innovation markets.

Our expansion has been supported through the Startup Welcome Package NRW, a grant initiative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Action and Energy of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), administered by NRW Global Business. The funding provides international startups with strategic support as they establish operations in the region – the funding application process is rigorous and detailed and so we’re thrilled to be an approved recipient.

With plans underway for our base at the Factory Campus in Düsseldorf, Green Parrot is positioning itself at the heart of a thriving ecosystem that blends regulatory leadership, government-backed innovation, and commercial opportunity. We’re actively engaging with key regional partners including NRW Investment & Trade, the Düsseldorf Innovation and Technology Centre, the Life Science Center, and the City of Düsseldorf’s Office of Economic Development and International Business Service.

Germany’s North Rhine-Westphalia is home to more than 24,000 foreign companies and is widely recognised as Germany’s economic powerhouse. The region’s startup ecosystem continues to grow rapidly: 2024 saw a 26% increase in new startups and a 58% rise in venture capital investment, particularly in areas such as artificial intelligence and sustainability innovation.

For Green Parrot, this marks the realisation of our European vision: establishing a sales base that connects us directly with partners, clients, and opportunities across one of the world’s most forward-thinking markets.

“We’re incredibly excited about the opportunities ahead in NRW,” said W Daniel Cox III, CEO of Green Parrot. “Germany represents a global benchmark for sustainability leadership, and this partnership will help us strengthen our European sales operations footprint.

Stay tuned as we continue to grow our European presence and build partnerships that bring verified sustainability data to life across industries and borders.
